Single Table Tournament (4 goals): Play my best, allow others to make mistakes and capitalize on them (and don't play the tournament backwards-hear comments on that); get myself into position to money; more up to the top 2 spots paying 50/30%; and once done, be aggressive and go for the victory (nothing to lose, you have 2nd place locked up).

Good strategy. What do you mean by play backwards?

Most players in the $5 and under events (and sometimes higher stakes online and definitely live), tend to see the blind structure to the starting chips as a massive chip disparity and think they are so deep they can splash around more, and some (many in some cases), are willing to put all their chips in with just top pair. I explain it more in the video, hope you will watch.

Last week I posted two heads-up matches that I know you will enjoy as well:

Comments always appreciated on YouTube or here, and of course you can message me anytime... gl

just one comment, edit your videos because it's really not that exciting to watch a 40 minute long $5 game, sorry.

thanks for you comments.

WhizIM - unlike other coaches, I do not edit as I feel the player needs to be watching every hand, real time, practicing putting players on hands, noticing styles, evaluating bet sizes and such. However, I agree, one table, for 40 minutes is what a person will have to endure and sometimes some don't have the patience to do it and learn to build a solid foundation which will indeed stifle their growth. thanks al
