Silver Level
After about 3 months of not cashing in LIVE MTTs (Either not getting the cards or got down to final 2 tables & out), I snapped my losing streak last night.
55 entrants (You can re-enter up until the 1st break ends & that comes after level 4)
I finished 4th. I, of course, wanted 1st, but I just wasn't getting enough playable cards & I became the small stack at the table after the smallest stack was eliminated in 5th place. (Top 5 get paid)
I got J9 offsuit twice in a row. Folded the first one & played the second. Had to be a sign that I should play it, right? Wrong LOL!
I get called by the big stack (directly to my left). Flop comes & I have a nice flush draw. I put the last $25k I have in (Blinds are $4k & $8k at this point. I had $77k at the start of this hand.) and he calls again. He turns over A3 offsuit. I didn't get my flush. Can't complain as I still cashed, but I never like to lose at anything.
I know, no one cares. I just felt like sharing.
