888 have some SNAP $20 freerolls on currently. I've played a few and what stands out is that I fold lots of hands I'd probably play if it wasn't a snap tournament. Which kind of suggests I'm playing too many weak hands in normal tournaments. I already knew I tend to play more hands than most people anyway. I'm guessing I'm not managing my patience and would rather lose a BB than sit out the hand. Need to rectify.

It is an insight as to playing a good range for sure - and using position. but I still think observing players is hugely important as the cards are only a percentage of a good poker players arsenal.

but generally you can expect to be up against better ranges in snap poker and people will fold to pressure without a strong hand since its pointless risking an all in without a premium or playing a massive pot with -EV equity

With these forms of poker you will need strong hands as most people will be folding a larger percentage of hands. But you can still use your position to steal a lot of pots. If you get any resistance move on to the next one.

Strong hands here are certainly important, but many times with KK I got under AA. Still, information about rivals is very important.

I play this kind of poker just because its fast and can easily play a few hands when you have a couple of free minutes. I do not see a special strategy in Snap-poker.

As I see snap poker, it's all about position. It also depends on which website you play I think, because sometimes I still see players at poker888 playing weak hands UTG, or trying to play on the draw. Only advice I can give you, position and decide is it worth playing the hand.
