Okay, first I have to apologize that I can't find the hand history on this. I looked in my files but couldn't find it. Anyhow, here's a rough idea of how the hand went.

It is early in the SNG and the blinds are only 15/30 and my reads on the players are minimal. I raise the blind to 3x the BB in early position with 2345 double suited. I do this for two reasons: 1. I've got a player two seats ahead with 90 chips left and I want that bounty 2. Early raises at this lvl usually means high cards and/or high PP's so if the flop hits me, i can score a number of chips.

The person next reraises me to 150 chips. The player with 90 chips calls to go all in. The cutoff calls for 150 and the BTN reraises all in. Blinds fold and the action comes to me. I have a healthy chips stack and don't necessarily want to risk it on 2345 double suited BUT with all the calls, I'm putting most on high cards/high PP's so I feel like the flop could hit me and I could double up if not more. The downside is it could be a donk shove by one or more of the players and some of my low cards may be counterfieted. I could also be crushed by flushes in some of the hands I assume to be high PP's or high cards if the flop doesn't come out right.

So, before I let you know what I did and how it turned out....a few questions. Are some of the assumptions I've laid out realistic to those who are reading this? Also, would you call or fold? Any other thoughts are appreciated because something similar to this happened to me tonight and this situation influenced that decision.

Hopefully I've typed this out so it doesn't read too poorly.

I think your on with your reads, though its a 1$ omaha tournament so many of the donks there don't know what a quality omaha hand even is haha. Maybe putting too much faith into them? idk haha but I would probably fold just with it being that early in the tournament

I was hoping for some more opinions on this but oh well. I did end up folding (which i think was correct) but my reads were exactly right. I would've tripled up because I had a made wheel after watching the hand play out. Ultimately, I was the bubble boy in this SNG and my mind went back to that hand.

Fast forward to a SnG last night. I'm ITM and the low stack raises all in with about 1K chips...I've got him covered easily. I put him on high cards/high PP with my mid hand of 4567 double suited. I called him, he shows a good high card hand and it hits. That double up propels him to the win and I have no doubt that the hand that I initally posted factored into my decision. I don't think my call was a bad one per se but a call I don't think I'd make if the hand I mentioned above didn't happen.

i don't see the need to call, although i agree with your logic about the others perhaps canceling the other out. but foremost the point in the tourney does not call for this play, and secondly you are probably already behind and won't make better flushes, thus you are hoping to make a low straight at best, and more likely trying to win with two pair.

Okay, first, log onto Stars & have them email the HH of the game you're talking about here (it's really easy to do).
pokerstars HH's used to just be auto sent & stored on my puter (much like Fulltilt's HH's) but for the past while they haven't been & I haven't been able to find it under 'options' how to have them come this way. BUT.. now instead of pursuing that option I've just found it much easier to have whatever specific tourney it is & then have them email the HH for it.

I'm just a bit curious as to how we can assign villain such a specific range when he's so short & we're itm? (I wish I had the uncanny ability to do so... although hand reading is one of my stronger qualities)

Ok here is the problem. Since it is a bounty the reason you are getting all of the callers is because for some reson they all wan that .25 bounty I have seen this time and time again. You didn't mention that this was h/l so I am assuming is is just NLO. This is no hand to be getting all in with pre for NLO. If it was NLO8 I might consider calling in fact without a doubt I am calling. Double suited or not the hand just isn't good for O Hi

In the future you limp with this hand and see how it plays out or if you are just going for that bounty you raise to over the short stack but if you get re raised you are out of the hand.
