I currently play £1 double your money on skypoker, fairly consistent winner, win 3 or 4 out of 5, however my BR isn't going up as quickly as I hoped.

I'm thinking about playing regular sit n go's where top 2 get paid, how should I adapt my strategy?

On double your money, I play very tight early on and when 1 or 2 players get out and I'm placed in top 2 I try and hang on and play the premium hands and hands when I'm BB, if I'm placed 3rd or 4th I tend to go super aggressive.

How should I adapt?

patience, if you keep it up like that it will eventually grow unless you want to try and multi table as steve sugg , you could always switch back if you're not comfortable.

If 2 is fine for you, I'd advise not adding any more just yet especially if you say you struggle with more tables because if a winner player adds more tables their ROI% goes down naturally the more you add and if you feel you don't play good poker with any more than 2, your mistakes will just become bigger and losses of course will just amplify.

Just keep playing two until you feel you can play most spots without thinking much about it, once you can do that then it's the time to just gradually add 1 or 2 tables and build them up.

The first thing you should do is stop focusing on how quickly your BR grows. This is akin to putting the proverbial cart ahead of the horse. Put all your attention and effort into getting better, and it will grow as a result.

That said, the main difference between DoNs and regular STTs is a shift in emphasis between surviving and winning. Survival has relatively greater importance in a DoN because there's no additional payoff for finishing higher.

In a regular STT, it's different. You make quite a bit more by winning than by min-cashing, so winning takes on increased relative importance.

It's funny to watch sometimes as player's seem to go for the win, which is good for you as they knock each other out.

Regular sng you may need to start a little loser and try and see a few extra hands early on and build a stack so you can throw your weight around later on to get in a good position to win
