Is anyone out there grinding a consistent profit on single talbe SnG's anymore?
If so are the turbos, regular blinds, Super turbos, etc?
Any advice would be appreciated. I have decent results in past with SnG's but never the discipline to stick with them and not blow them on MTT's or Cash games.

I think it boils down to what you think you have an edge in.

Super Turbo would be for those who are good at shove/fold poker.....Knowing when to push, and optimal ranges to shove with. If you can exploit those who don't play this format well, then that's for you. That said, it is probably the format with the highest variance.

Regular format benefits those who are strong post-flop that are strong at identifying and exploiting others' mistakes, whether it is how they play their hands, or taking advantage of their aggressiveness or lack thereof. I find that sometimes people are far too passive and don't really start to play until they get to a point where they only have one play.

Then you have Turbo's which combine a bit of the two. There is some room for post-flop play but people get short faster so you have to have built up a stack where you can apply pressure without having to risk your tournament life.

I take turns between Turbos and Regular formats myself.

it's getting harder to find SNG games. I was playing a lot at Carbon, but the lower limits basically dried up.

I play pretty much everything on Carbon. Probably not the best idea for focusing on profits, but meh!

If I'm really bored, but I want to play, I join some sng HU games. That way I get action every hand :D

I can play cash games, turbos, hyper turbos, 6 max, full ring, STTs, MTTs, DoN, etc. I play em all. I'm not about that grinder life! I have to mix it up or I'd probably quit poker.

I think the worst for my bankroll though are those turbo +Rebuy +Addon tournaments. At the micro levels, everyone is shoving and YOLOing/Bingo it up hoping that they double up in the beginning stage. Suckouts are going to happen more than you want them too...

I'm starting to go off subject LOL, but yeah I agree focusing on a certain type of SnG would be profitable for you. Avoid them turbo +rebuy +addons IMO. If you bink a tournament you get paid, but I bust out so much or min cash that I feel like I'm just burning money. :(

It all depends on how much you play the tables and this will be your profit and ROI...

Example if you play only 2-6 tables for you better reg speed , ROI for regulars reg speed around 10-20% , for turbo around 5-10% , and for hyper 2-5%..
