I think has a lot to do with your table image, have you been tight? Have you raised from position and folded to a 3bet often? Have you showed down a failed bluff attempt lately? What stage in the tournament is this? Bubble?

Anytime I read any of the shove times and playing a hand a certain way... it all comes down to the table image you have.. how far u r from the bubble.. chip stacks, and have you shown any hands at showdown that would cause them to think u r stealing?? when it is one on one.. 50/50 chance I push with anything

I was BB shover was small blind. He shoved 45 offsuit. We had near equal stacks 2 away from the bubble. I understand the bluff value but my question was is there a chart that says this is a plus ev move? Thanks. also I am considered a tag player preflop lag post I would guess.

Bluff shoving has a lot to do with your past. If you have been shoving a lot, then you are bound to be called on a bluff at some point. However, if you play tight and have been folding to a lot, then it's understandable that the other players will believe you have a strong hand. It's never easy to say because you can always get called and then you're hoping for a prayer. It's hard to say whether you made the right call or wrong call, but you set it up yourself. It can be a great call if you play it tight, or a terrible call if you have played it aggressively up until that point.
