So.. im playing sng for almost 6 months, nothing professional , just for fun. anyway, i used to play micros but im suffering too hard in these limits, i already had studied a lot about it, everybody says "dont bluff" , " play good hands, only value bets " but even after all that i keep finding myself getting crushed by donkeys , by horrible calls , and insanely stupid hand Ranges from the villains, situations that its impossible to make a good read of the villains cause he is so crazy that becomes unpredictable, im not here to complain about lucky, i know that in the long run i will profit ( the theory says so) , if i keep making good decisions , and playing good hands, but honestly, the long run is much more distant than what we expect it to be. Anyway, im here to hear what you guys think, your experience about it, and answer one of my big doubts, should i keep playing these limits, or deposit more so i can play a higher limit with less annoying donkeys and lucky fish. im not an entusiast, i have a good experience on Poker , 3 years now, studying, practicing, and playing live, just started now on the online, and keep feeling that i have more knowledge than most of the guys on these limits (hand Ranges, position, equity, odds and more..) , it seems like a lottery there , so i cant exploit their lack of knowledge , cause lucky always prevail , they play anything. Please, help me. And sorry for the big text lol

Well play bigger tournaments..if you are playing for fun, and this isn't spend little bit more for real fun...and if you are good, you can even profit from that!! I find tournaments btw 4-10$ best...not many donkeys, but not many good players too...

The higher buy-ins do attract a different calibre of player, depending on how high you go. You'll have to watch your bankroll carefully though. Be prepared to drop back very quickly if things don't go your way. I know guys who play the Sunday Storm ($11 buy-in) every week and never get too far. They make it into the money every once in a while, but not enough to break even over the long term.

Luck comes into play at every level. The odds are just a prediction, albeit a prediction based on data and stats. In the end, 3:1 means that one time in four the underdog is still going to win. If he's in a position where he feels that it's all-or-nothing time, he's going to play against those odds, and one time in four he's going to win.

Hi Predatorkc and welcome to Cardschat. This is what I've been told here many times when I talked about moving up another level, and I'm surprised it has not been said yet. You have 6 months experience online, and you are not winning at 2nl, 5nl, or 10nl, so it's a mistake to move up thinking you will find different players. I started with $50 and at 2nl until I could win at that and moved up a level. I've made it to 10nl without making anymore deposits, and I been there a long time, but I know I need more skill for the next level. For me every level was like a different world. And I'm in no hurry because it just don't work, and my BR won't last long without the experience and skill I need to play at 25nl. GL to you.

never understood the "micros are harder you cant bluff, got to move up to where they respect my bets"

micros are not harder they are easier, the only bad part is the rake

Honestly, if you can't beat the micro stakes with basic ABC poker, you're probably not going to beat the higher stakes either.

Are you play tournaments or cash?

I read somewhere " How you want to move up if you can't beat the worst players in the bussiness ? ( talking about microstakes players) "

at higher stakes ofc you'll face a lot more better opponents and you'll face a lot more difficult decisions to make.
