I was doing some research today and this confused me. How can you go +$300 playing $1-2 buy-ins? These are all SNG's and even multi-tables don't pay that much. Is it one huge buy-in win at the end and all the rest less than $2. This is really deserving of a 68/100 skill level? I just don't get it.

Not sure how they came to that ability stat, but mayhaps the big win at the end was a $2 rebuy? And that is $2 average stake. Might be from a $3 or $5 tourney.

These are all sit n' goes. Re-buy SNG's at FTP? 180 is the max SNG right?

You're right. If they're all SNG then I don't see how that is possible. and OPR is officialpokerrankings.com

looks like one win for ~$350...you can actually check recent results and maybe see what it was in. Probably the player just reloaded his account and took a shot at a much higher buy-in game ($25-50?).

edit: oh, the ability/100 stat is pretty worthless.

Pretty much has to be one cash in a high buy in game. Rest of the graph still looks like a fish to me. What was their ROI in $1/2 games?

OPR don't include any games under 30 player so this does me no good.

I think he must have won a $60 BI or something although it doesn't show exactly. Here is bar graph from SS:

Likely shipped a $20 45 man or similar. But if you want to find out his last few games, go into "form". If you can't view it, just send me his ID and i can do it for you.

Thanks Wiz again, Didn't know these results were included at SS. I want mostly STT stats, but oh well. What should I expect for free?

One nice win! Stats can be helpful, but they do not account for all the bad beats, so they really do not represent your game. You need to evaluate how other players are playing and not just play the cards. So do not spend so much time evaluating the stats and just work on making the right call. Does not mean you will win, but at least you know you played a good game.

This. You can plot his buy-in histogram BTW. Then you'll see one $50 win amongst the $1 buy-ins or something similar.

Edit:

sharkscope's ability rating is ridiculous... it's like the NFL's qb rating system.. a number that is supposed to represent your ability, and yet no one even knows how the hell they get that magic number.... except for the creators

Have often wondered what this player was thinking in a bunch of diff. hands. Now I've got a better idea. ;) weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
