SORRY FOR LACK OF INFO - was a couple of weeks ago.
So I was playing live a week ago in alocal tournament. I was supposed to post earlier so I forget the positions, but it was very early in the blind levels.
I can't give an accurate recount of the hand and bets, but It'll be close enough.
Note - The previous hand I floated and bluffed the river when the ace came, because the other guy said " RA RA you always get lucky on me, so I showed him the J10 to say no I don't. Given this new opponent in the following hand saw, he may think I'm bluffing again/loose. So I assumed that's why he re raises me coming up here.
Hero A 10.
I raise pf, everyone folds and villain calls from BB or UTG (memory)
Flop is A 9 5 (don't remember suits)
He checks to me, I bet, he calls.
The turn is a 10
Villain checks, I bet, he re-raises me. (Now I'm thinking maybe he thinks I'm bluffing because he saw the previous hand I mentioned above), so I call.
River (forget) but it was dry. He's taken control of the pot and bets out into me again.. I thought for a while, then called.
He flips over pocket 9, with his set over my 2pair. losing half my starting stack which I had to rebuild.
Now in this situation, how would I put him on a set of 9's in this circumstance? I took into account that he saw me show to shut the other guy up, and probably tried to throw me off a bluff of some sort. Usually you can tell when they float, but on the turn he took charge of the betting and started leading into me.
Sorry again for lack of information because It was a while ago and I've played heaps since.
