Hi there,
I'm new here so please be nice,
I'm trying to figure out how to schedule playing tournaments like a pro,
Ideally I would love an example of how these guys making a few hundred k a year are scheduling play through the day and week so I can set up a similar system and operate at parity.
I have about a 10k bankroll, and I want to get that as high as possible so I can enter world championships or european tours etc next year responsibly, but so far I really have only played on pokerstars, and I'm scratching my head at how it can be done.
I usually win big once a month, but now with my bankroll I'm struggling to have tournaments that are going to have big payoff, so those big wins are wasted on just like... 500 or less in a win... which is ok, but hardly a great way to go because as you know, that minus all the buyins, that minus any extracted money for rent, leaves me no room to really get going with this thing (cuz tournaments top 3 prizes that go beyond that are much more rare).

I come from a chess and business background, and picked up poker competancy relatively quickly after a long period of just peripheral interest. I don't already know how pros schedule this cuz I was just super focused on building my bankroll and establishing my credibility (through judging the consistency of my play and performance versus the quality of the players).
Now, I have a real shot at it, so I'm just trying to get my head around how to best set up my schedule to maximise tournament winnings and I figure, guys have done it before so, let's just ask.

:)

Cheers
