hello there,
there was always been an issue in my mind whether is it worthy to play satellites with more than $1 buy in.if so,whats your buy in border and what is that controls your decisions?

If you have the the patience they are definitley worth it.
The quality of play is alot worse than other equivalent tournaments (thats why you need the patience) probably as people are playing for a ticket and not $$$

Man, there's a strategy on satelites that I'm using.

Play the satelites, once you get in, usually it gives you more 40 - 50 buy ins for the satelite, so, unregister and then play for the entry again. That will probably give you the entry and about 30 buy ins in Tmoney.

I do not know, I'd rather sit and go before the satellites. The satellites are mad, if they re-buy are worse. It is better to invest a few dollars more and gather the entrance to any event with sit and go. eg sit and goes 1 dollar 45 players, pay 12 dollars, especially for Sunday Storm.

Sure, i know a couple of players who actually play only satellites and they make a really nice profit out of it. I play satellites and my buyin range is $1-$5, that's how much i'm willing to pay.
Personaly, satellites are profitable, especially at 888's ;)

I love satellites if I have the time to play higher buy in tournament. But i have gotten in and cashed in a few tournaments that way in my poker career

100 BI 's is a good amount for satellite play , but only play satellite advise if you are prepared to face the next tournament , because sometimes the tournament pays much compared to your bankroll and you end up playing pressed for money
