I have a question, lets say you are playing in a rush mtt tournament and you have a hand that you know that you want to fold, should you wait until it's your turn to fold, or use the auto fold. it seems like if you just wait you wouldn't have to pay as many blinds in the long run. I guess if you auto fold too much you might see more hands so it might balance out.

thanks in advance

Supposedly the way it picks who gets the blinds is by who has gone the longest without paying one.

I don't think it's infallable though, because I've had several blinds in succession before.

This is flawed logic for the same reason that you shouldn't buy in late to tournaments if you have the edge.

1. If you have the edge each hand is +$EV for you.
2. The more hands you see the more hands you play when blinds are smaller and your edge is (theoretically) larger.

To take it even further, the less hands you play, the more hands you get to see. This is why a very tight strategy can work wonders in rush, if you are folding 90%+ of your hands you will see big hands come around very quickly...
