Hello everybody. I haven't posted anything in awhile and figured i'd talk about some of the tournaments I played over the weekend.First off, something that's never happened before happened to me on Sunday. I had received a ticket for the pokerstars scratch goals tournament a couple months ago and last Sunday was when it was to be played. There were two tournments to choose from and i decided that i would play in the later tourny. The only problem was when i signed on to pokerstars, the tournament was already full. I had been planning on playing in this tourny for two months and to find out it was already full was pretty disappointing. Instead of signing off though i noticed that every few seconds someone would leave the tournament and the number of players would dip down to 9999. I tried to get in a few times to little success. Then i decided to try something else. When someone left i clicked register and when the confirm screen came up i didn't hit confirm right away. The reason for this is because I knew I wouldn't be fast enough to hit confirm before someone else got in. So I waited until someone left a second time before I hit confirm. BOOM! I couldn't believe it lol. I got in. Never before have i managed to get into a tournament once its been filled. Talk about crazy good luck Anyways once i got in my main focus once was just reaching the money. I didn't want to have gone through all that trouble and not get anything for it. I ended up finishing 136th. I couldn't beleive it. After all the trouble i went through just to get into the tourny, I ended up finishing in the top 200. The payout was only for like 54 cents but it didn't matter. The experience of barely getting in and having such a deep run was worth it. And when that tournament was still going on I played in the PSO skill league tourny as well and made it to the money. Not planning my retirement anytime soon, but it was still a good lazy day Sunday of poker. Thanks for reading. Miester646 out.
