Well, as the name suggests, I am writing to ask what you think of these types of tournaments.
What strikes me is that there are enough people who just start beginning to buy more chips, What opinais of this strategy? My in principle I do not think the right thing ...

Can anyone advise me about how to play these tournaments with so many buybacks?

Thank you very much!!!

If you play in them you should be prepared to rebuy and you should be playing looser and faster than normal. Expect other players to be doing this as well. You can rebuy right away if you like and if you do be aggressive with the extra chips don't just sit and wait. I also wait sometimes to rebuy but if I do this I play aggressive and try to "win" my rebuy early. If I get felted I just double rebuy. The point is that you must play even more aggressive than normal in this format. It is a chance to build a monster stack early and use it to push people around. If his style of play is not for you then I would avoid these tournaments.

What George said....except I won't rebuy, I'll just double up my first initial buy in. Also, nobody is bluffing during the rebuy stage. It's rare.

Also you should not forget that because of opportunity of re-buy _other_ players go all-in much more often than usually and play aggressively too.

I play my standart poker. Rebuy gives me a chance to continue to play in the tournament after bad bits

ive played a few rebuy tournaments the month and never had to rebuy yet. added on a few times that I needed to but as long as your patient and play premium hands or attack small stacks when you have a good opurtunity rebuy tournaments aren't bad. my only problem with them is how long the rebuy window stays open for on most so you have to be ready to endure a long session lol

I love this type of tournaments. You can get easy chips just by being patient. People will be playing wild and loose and that's when you can strike. If you can't afford to add on then you should not be playing those. Good luck.

I find that you will come across much easier opponents on these tournaments. I've seen people rebuy two or three times within the space of a few minutes simply because they can

I just do rebuy and play tighter as people in these tournaments play more freely . This brings me more win

when i play in a rebuy mtt,i set a limit to how many times i rebuy-most times it never goes over 3 times-in some cases 3 times is going to cause ppl that are playing to finish high in top 10 or 20 just to make the break even point -if you only just make money a few ppl after bubble you may not even get your 3 buy-ins back-i try not to force myself to finish top heavy-if i get there i get there no need for uneeded pressure-which is why i set a buy-in limit for myself

I dont miem but wont rebuy

I don't mind people flushing tons of money in to the game. I personally won't rebuy. I will look for cheap flops and play rather tight pre flop. But then when the board hits, rebuy kings will donate chips and money. SO CALL CALL CALL!!!!

in rebuy tournaments, I would recommend to have a depth of about 250-300 bankroll buy ins for your limit and during the tournament you should not hesitate to do the rebuy and play a large number of speculative hands

Just play agressive as unusual on rebuy tourney and prepare you're self to rebuy at any time , it won't work always for you , don't join a battle with many players , call raise with max 2

be carefu

I do not usually play much this kind of tournament , most believe it is interesting to be able to play a little looser and make opponents chips playing more solids . IN my opinion these types of tournament you need to analyze well what do the players at your table , if you do not end up losing all of your chips , then it is necessary to be careful even though it can give ruby

I believe that the buyback is an opportunity to win, you enter more aggressive and strategic, as a second chance.

easy way to look at the rebuys is to try to figure out what it does to your tourney equity

ie if rebuying gets you to 8bbs its probably not worth it, but if it gets you to 1000bbs or gives you a good shot to make it to the money its prob worth it

I never rebuy for the tournaments, if you lost that means it was your fate to lose this particular one. So move on and try another time.

I tried to play these tournaments but I have understood that it not for me. There is no sense to play these tournaments if you have no a lot of money for rebuys. Opponents play very aggressively and very much of hands. Very often do pre flop allin, and you also it is necessary to fold many good hands. On it I prefer tournaments without rebuys

Well i played few of them. And i don't like them. Bad for my BR and players on that type of tournament are insane (most of them). Some crazy all in situations. Especially if they get beaten or sufer bad beat. Then bingo play starts. I just don't play them.

I would suggest you to avoid them. It just makes the game slower when people never run out of their stacks. If you play them, try to make use of the ones rebuying. For me at least, they often go all in directly without anything good where you should call if you have a decent hand.

this is more like bingo tournaments, some players are all in every hand, but if you have enough patients to await for good hand you can double or triple up easy, and after rebuy period is over can start some real play :D
