A with weak kicker like 7 is a hand u should only play if you have **** loads of chips and even then its a trap waiting to happen. Now it being pocket diamonds changes things its not rubbish. I usually call to see the flop depending on the bets. from there onwards u hit A great!but take good care of opponents moves from there onwards. never preflop fold an A suited unless the bets are too high to risk. best of luck. poker is a game of luck afterall nomatter the skill.

Again, what was the preflop and post flop action? What are stack sizes? What are blinds?

It's an ok hand to play when deep or super short or short handed.
I try to stay away from the A6-A9 range as much as I can.
If you play them you go for two or one street of value with top pair pot control as much as possible to get to show down and be ready to ditch it if betting action heats up.

Slight raise, FreeRoll was in its early stages 80 think the ace 7 bet 160 and bb called paired up and killed him off !! Both all in on flop.

Oh, lol.

You aren't in this hand? Standard FR play. TP is never folding and 2 pair is never folding.

That's a good reason/proof to get rid of Ax weak kicker early on a tournament/freeroll , especially if it is the CardsChat freeroll . The op got what he deserved , hahaha .

Still think that most of the time ace rag off belongs in the bin, if its not a bluff, then you are kinda in a negative implied odds situation.

What do you want to hit on the flop, odds are that somebody who has an ace may have you out kicked or if they dont have an ace they can push you off your weak kicker.....and if they cant push you off, then they are value poning you every time they have a better ace
