Hey Guys,
when I started playing online poker nearly everybody just limps into the flop and just risk about max. 10% of their stacks. I have done it too.
But when I watched the first time an live tournament nearly everybody raises to like 3 to 5 big blinds in the preflop already and there are generally like 2, max 3 players in the flop. All of of them risking each hand about 20% to 40% of theirs stack, so if they lose it's pretty bad for them.
So why is it such a huge difference? Is it because I just played low stackes with like under 2$?
Thx for your help
