I think you get on tilt and call these hands because of the tilt. Look at the messages in the OP, "URGH" in shove, "ffs" at the end of the hand. It puts you on tilt and and it continues to snowball, making you lose.

why you tilting? you just saved your stack from going bye-bye. this is as good as doubling up!

It was indeed a very good laydown. Jacks are a very difficult hand to play. You initial raise was good and considering how the action went folding was the best thing to do. So well done. Such good laydowns will are necessary if you want to run deep in a tournament.

I understand that making good folds allow me to go longer in a tournament but I should have made that call, he had been sooo agrro before hand

Mostly cause I would have doubled up yah 500 less but still he'd of been on tilt lol.

Thats bookline fold sir. Adding to it, you said he was TA previous hands.
You should rather be happy since you save yourself from elimination.

There isn't much appeal in calling the 3bet, which would mean you've put in half your stack. If you call, you're probably going to be OOP looking at a board with at least one overcard. If you then check-fold, you'll have reduced yourself to about 13bb.

So the main options are to fold or shove. Whether you want to risk your tournament at this point mainly depends on the range you assign to the large stack. Basically, unless you think he's 3betting hands like 77 to TT, it's not especially hard to find a fold.

Admittedly, I don't know what a leader freeroll is, or what the general play is in one, but given that you're OOP and having to call off most of your stack to the 3bet, pat yourself on the back for making a good opening raise with the hooks, but now you're beat. Snap fold; save your chips to fight another day.

FYI, "URGH" is a tell that you're offering your opponents that you're weak. Something to chew on.

hi!
in a freeroll you have to play many coinflips pre flop and get lucky
i cant understand why you folded this in a freeroll
in my opinion it was a bad move in the right time.post flop you couldnt fold an overpair...

It was the top 200 get into finale in may over 8 heats I was gutted because I came 201st because I need to be 30th or higher in that tournament to get into the finale

I was more thinking abut my points than anything els really that's why I decided to fold I know that now making that fold was the right choice in the long run but oh well.
