Hi guys,
I'm interested in finding your opinion on something. I'm micro MTT player and I also play satellites to low and midstake MTT's (11-44), and lately, since I don't have the time to unregister and take the tournament money, I have to play into this.
This weekend I went deeper in big 22, being eliminated on 33 or 35 from more than 5000 people. When I reached the final 50, I saw that 80% of the people were mid to high stake players (playing also 55, 215, and 1000 WCOOP buy ins) and I saw that most of them had very nitty stats (over 30 40 hands), and in my opinion they were playing ABC poker, nothing spectacular like bluffs, floating, a lot of 3Bet, not stealing too much or 4Bet, etc., things that I was expecting to see at this level.
The only difference that I saw is that they are pushing more wide with 10 12 BB and calling shoves lighter when they are 10-15BB.
I'm considering myself a winning player at micro MTT and I think that if I will build a bankroll I will be able to be a winning player (of course with a smaller winrate) also in low midstakes (11-109).
Do you think I'm wrong?
Thanks.
