is the strategy at deepstack mtts with 30min blinds much different than the ones
with 15min blinds ? and if so what are the main differences?

i want to start practice deepstack mtts but i cant find any with 30min blinds close to my bankroll lvls so i wonder if its worth to start with the 15min blinds , i played mtts with 10min blinds until now but they are too fast , no much room for deepstack play and you have to push small edges a lot.

30min blinds... I didn't even know they had tournaments with blinds that high, I didn't know they had 15 either... lol highest blind I've ever played is 10min blinds... I know this is probably a very stupid question but what is an mtt?

Not an expert, but the longer the blind times the more time you have to wait for a good spot. 15 minutes online is a pretty good amount of time as hands go by much faster than live play. 30 minutes seems really slow for online and most people would only be playing premiums until forced otherwise, 15 minutes I think people will indeed play tighter than 10minutes but may over tighten and eventually be sitting with big blinds and a small stack. I would suggest spotting these people out and punish them. Play position well, and put pressure on others.

Yes - there is a big difference in the way I approach these tournaments.

Turbo type means little time to make things happen so you need to be way more aggressive. Blinds are escalating quickly and before you know it's time to shove.

Deep stack gives you the luxury of exercising more pot control and sparring with your opponents - which means gaining more info for later reads. Good players will prefer this type as it gives an opportunity to actually outplay the competition rather than many more coin flips in the other.

Sometimes in a deep stack I can choose to take like 20% of my starting stack in the beginning and dabble with more speculative hands and try to hit to get off to a fast start. If that doesn't happen I am comfortable enough to gear down with my remaining 80% and play it straight. That is just way too dangerous/disastrous of an approach in that other tourney.

i like to play a bit in the beginning of a deep stack tourney too. size of stack and slow rising blinds does give you that extra oof one needs to play that 7,8 suited with confidence hehe.

30 minute blinds, heck in my fifties i could die playing before we get to the black chips.

Longer blinds = chips are more "significant" = more play = I slow down and read my opponents, pick my spots, don't move to gain chips as quickly out of fear
