I do pretty well in freerolls. I have consistently cashed. My question is...does that say something about how well I play? Moreso, does that say I should finally step into the highlight and start playing cash mtt's??? Do my results favor possible same results in a cash tourny?

Thanks,

Dallas aka UpSwing15

Cash MTTS will not see the weak shoves that frerrolls see early on. Depends on what freerolls you are playing really, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of "strategy" in them...if your making a jump from freeroll to .50 MTT, I would say not a huge difference. But a 10$ SNG will provide more difficult decisions. I've grinded both

If I were you and I was doing pretty well in freerolls , I would try to build a bankroll first good enough and study some strategy . Then play some sngs or limit holdem cash gams to see how it goes and then start playing tournaments that demand a lot of buy-ins . But if you are very good at MTTs freerolls , you are a recreational player , and your bankroll is not small/you'll play small buy-in (like 0.11 or 0.55 $ ) then why not , you decide . Good Luck .

Freeroll are tournaments where everyone can play without investing any money. This state is making no risk to lose something so some players aren't getting freerolls seriously. But if you're regularly cashing in tem you can try to play some small cash tours ;)

I would say if you have a decent BR then go ahead and make the jump but don't jump to far. Stay at the lower buy in levels and move up as your BR grows. Good luck on the felts!
