I was wondering what is an acceptable amount of percentage for cashing in multi-table tournaments ? Most tournaments I play in have somewhere around a 10% per field payout.
If you could, please let me know what you think it is for different skill levels. Say average, good and very good. Please take into account variance.

If your opinion takes into consideration different tournaments with different levels of buy-ins, such as micro, low, etc. I'd like to hear what you think about that also.

Please limit your answers with the "It Depends" to a minimum.... LMAO.

Thanks

best way to do this is find out who wins a lot in MTTs in your entry level, then do sharkscope searches on them to find out how much they cash and how many top % finishes they have.

Generally speaking the lower ROI and lower winning players might cash more, but rarely get that big one. The higher ROI type players and most wining cash less but they also win and get the top 3 spots a ton more which is where the big money is at.

Giving figures on it is really not helpful, but if you cash maybe 15% of the time or something you might be doing well. but it really dpends on buyin level, skill level, and if you have been lucky enough to win a tournament recently and also the amount of volume you have played.

sorry i couldn't help you more hopefully someone else has better input.

Some players with a below 10% ITM rate could be making more than someone with a 25%+ ITM rate since the ones with a low % ITM rate will be taking a lot more risks at building a stack in order to run deeper and potentially go on to win the tournament so I wouldn't really look too deeply on the ITM rates and just continue to put yourself in good stack building spots to have those deeper runs
