I am trying to become pro. And I would like to become friends with someone else who is also trying to become pro or is already a pro. I think it would be a good idea to talk about poker and discuss strategy. I want to move to Thailand because of the cheap lifestyle, it would be easier to make a living from poker. The minimum you would need to win per week is about 168$. I think it would be a good idea moving in with other pros. So I would be looking for a poker house already established or starting my own. If you have similar goals lets become friends and make awesome shit happen. Maybe join my club on stars, i have a group of regs there already. I think in 6-12 months i will have accomplished my goal and will be setting higher ones.:dancing:

I'm also trying to make online poker my main source of income. I'm using the 60 day bonus earning period on Bovada as my trial run and if it works maybe out I'll be changing my profession next year!

The reason I'm doing this is because I absolutely hate working for people! I don't have a degree and therefore I can't get a job where I'm not treated like crap! I started school a couple years ago but unfortunately I didn't finish. I'm going back this winter and hopefully I can get my poker career off of the ground to give me a little more freedom while taking classes. My cost of living right now is pretty low, around 600 a month. No terrible feat hopefully! What's your cost of living in Australia and what do you think it will be in Thailand? I've been told you can eat and live there for like $9usd/day. Is that true?

Good luck to you!!

You all have great dreams of becoming poker pros. But wouldn't only 1 or 2 of you be winners if you 3 sat at a table together? Leaving 1 to be the loser?

Poker is a food chain.

Indeed, someone has to loose. But there's plenty of fish to go round..

Yes he is! Perhaps he'd want to move in to dubstep's house in THailand?

I too want to be a pro, but moving to Thailand doesn't sound that appealing to me haha. Good luck with your dream, If you work hard at it you can accomplish it, or really anything you want.

I also made a thread a while back here's the link https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/what-does-take-pro-240701/
feel free to check it out if your like, I have thoroughly picked through the idea so it may help you, there is also a lot of thought provoking questions asked by posters on there. Good Luck!

That's pretty lazy way to make a living. Wish you good luck. Maybe every poker player would like to play poker for a living (go pro).
