I've heard some things about the odds ir the pot. I wanna to ask you'll How can o calcuculate pot odds in a tournament?

A wise man once said, There are no pot odds in a tournament. Your chips are worth more cuz once they are gone you are out. Unless you are in a rebuy.

The pot odds are simply how much is in the total pot to how much you need to call.

For example, if the pot is $50 and someone bets $50, the pot is now $100. You need to call $50, so the pot odds are:

[total pot]:[amount to call]
$100:$50
2:1

Yeah, that wise man doesn't know what he is talking about.

Pot odds are the same as always, amount out there divided by the amount you need to call.

The pot is 1000 chips, opponent bets 500 chips. There is 1500 chips out there and you need to call 500. 1500÷500=3... So 3 to 1.

I hate it when the pot is 2000 and someone raises 100. I think it's pointless the minimum should be a 1/3, I always raise 1/2 to 1/1 of the pot or all in depending on the moment

if someone bets 100 into a 900 dollar pot there is 1k in the pot so you are getting 10 to 1 to call thats pot odds
