Hi all,
So ill start by mentioning that ive not been playing poker long, ive only played poker for about a year and learnt playing against friends.
Ive recently started playing on pokerstars $1 and $3 buy in tourneys and ive been playing quite well (I know the standard probably isn't very high) but my problem is that out of about 1000 players I always seem to start well and more often than not get into the money with a top 20 chipstack, however it seems to me as soon as im in the money I either get a few bad flips where im favourite pre flop, or I slowly start to lose my stack.
I don't feel like I change my play, but maybe that's the problem, should I?
It seems to me as though a big stack on my table will raise pre flop and send bets all the way to the river. What should I do after the flop when I feel like im ahead with bottom or middle pair? I feel like I know I should push all in however I don't want to risk the tournament on a hunch.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
