Assuming everyone rebuys/adds 4 times, my BRM calculations require nearly $4400 to try this

215/7.50=28.67 players for each seat awarded, or 3.49% of the field.
2000/3.49*7.65(my max buy-in)=$4386

Yes, I'm a BR nit, but I've gone busto trying to satty into big events, so I'm staying away for now -- good luck to you, though!

That makes zero sense IMHO.
Yeah, you need more than just a few re-buy, but not that much more.

BTW 4 re-buys?
Usually around 30 re-buys avg.

You are correct that if we rebuy less than the avg, the BR requirements go way down. The late one that is listed from yesterday shows 7.6 or so per person. Using the same formula, then I would only need $2885.

Yeah i used to play these a fair amount. Extremely soft if you understand the turbo structure and satty play. I only ever single rebuy in these, never double.

why only single rebuy?
i can understand the argument in latter stages of rebuy period, but during the early stages wouldnt it make sense to double rebuy in order to build a larger stack early?

Yeah, early on it probably ok to take double re-buy.
