Hello Everyone,

I have started playing a lot more frequently the Sit and Go satellites on poker stars to get into my events instead of actually registering for the event and a few questions came up in my mind:

1. What kind of bankroll should I have for these satellites? I typically put in $40-$50 into this once or twice a month and the maximum I have played for these sit and go satellites is a $7.50 satellite (but I do a lot of the lower satellites to try and get some of the smaller cost events) so I don't know if that is considered decent or not

2. At what point should I give up on trying to satellite into any event? (Example: for $0.55 events the SnG satellites cost $0.08 so I would typically stop after 6 attempts on that particular satellite. Also I don't try to play in satellites that have the target event already started)

3. On most satellites I do win, I do have the option to unregistered for T$ Which events should I consider to play out in full and which ones should I just take the tournament dollars and run? (I normally play the events I satellite into that are $5.50 or lower but I do participate in the Sunday storm and $55 Mini Bounty Builder HR (because I cant unregister from that event)

Anyone with answers or advice please let me know and thanks in advance. :):):):D

Same for me, I usually go with sng's until I reach a goal, I am not stopping usually. On these 16 max hyper sattelites where u was talking about 0.08 to 0.55 satties. There can be really big swings on these, I have lost like 30 in a row and not getting a ticket so swings can be really massive. For these sattelites u should have a big BR to take a swings and not lose. I don't play these satellites lately because of the swings, better are these tournament sattelites with more entries etc.. I like these splash type sattelites too, I have got from 0.11 sattelites to 11$ tourneys a lot of times, u can rebuy as much as you want and you can get add-on too for a lot of chips for the same price. If you don't have at least 150 buy-ins then I wouldn't recommend to play hyper sng sattelites.
