What purposes you set in a game with knockouts, to play aggressively and to earn beating out players, or the purpose to reach prizes with the minimum losses?

Gamble early to build a stack to cover the majority of the players then hunt within reason to make your buy in back in bounties then play to make a stack to win until it gets deep when pay jumps are more significant than bounties.

many factors influence a main objective, such how size of a bankroll, the played limit, the opponents sitting at a table and in general an emotional state proceeding from it already decide that it is more favorable in this situation

I try to play it on the map, but if a player with a great reward someone lost their entire stack, and puts a push in the form of 15% of my bank toy made the call

It's an interesting question. You want to register early to these and maintain a few more chips earlier so that you can cover people for bounties, because they are literally half of the tournement.

Working out the value of bounties is quite hard to do. A minimum size bounty in a progressive KO is worth half of the starting stack, because if bounties are half the tourney then each persons minimum bounty is worth starting stack, but you can only get half of this in a progressive KO. However, it's not as easy as just adding extra chips and working out your odds at that point. If you have to risk a large portion of your stack to win a bounty then you will effect your ability to win bounties in the future, so your own stack size is important even if it isn't risked in the hand. You don't want to change your play too much because of bounties when you are risking almost your whole stack. So, to give an example, if the blinds were 100/200 and someone went in for 10 BB on the button and it folds to you on the big blind with 30K chips, you want to call with any two for a min bounty, but if the blinds were 100/200 and someone went all in for 10 BB on the button and you have 2500 chips then a closer to normal calling range is better.

As well as this, there are many other things which you need to adapt to when playing with bounties. You need to realise that if someone goes all in with a bounty, there is most likely going to be a lot of action, so when you shove, you need to adapt your range to include more hands which do better when called. For instance, a hand like 98s or 22 becomes less valueable when you shove with a bounty because when called, you are almost always flipping or behind, whereas a hand like A9 becomes more valueable because if people are going to call you with broadways and hands like A2-A8 then you are going to be in a better situation to double up. You also need to think about bounties when you are considering postflop decisions. You want to try to build the pot more often if your opponent has a bounty, and you need to remember that a bounty aware opponent will probably realise that you will bet more often.

So yeah, that's about it. I do find them very fun and interesting, and I do think that the bounty idea is a good one. I hope that advice makes sense ;)

Good luck!

All depends on the card that comes to hand! Play should always be careful, the game makes the format very often players go all bank

I think these KO games are a lot of fun. I have used them to to build my play chip BR to 1.5M. I slow play a lot in these games as well as not call too many early raises. You do need to play slightly aggressive as people will be getting knocked out and you will lose the chance of collecting their KO bounty.:D:D

These are fun and sometimes risky. I tend to call smaller stacks if i have a big lead, with cards that i would normally fold. Worth the risk for the bounty, but you need to have a good stack. When you get a couple of knockouts you get the entry fee back and then anything is gravy.

in my opinion both eliminating players and reaching good prices are important however i think you should prioritize to reach the prices rather than eliminating other players because it will be much rewarding reaching a final table than eliminating a couple of players and win their bounties. if the tournament is a progressive ko then thats a different story because ko a player with a big bounty can give you lot of money, however even in this tournaments reaching the final table will be more rewarding than eliminating other players, so you should play progressive ko tournaments more aggressively and take more chances than the regular ko tournaments especially when villain bounty is high and you can cover his stack.
