Hi all!
Is it just me or freerolls on pokerstars were better a few years ago. You had at least freerolls for weekly round 2 but now i dont know what i can play are all restricted and a lot of freerolls i cant play cuz im not from russia,italy...
The only thing you can play are CC freerolls and PSO mtts a MTTs with school passes.
In my oppinion pokerstars was better in the past.

Yea I didn't even know how they were in the past but had to assume they had to be better than they are now. When I used to play quite a few years ago it was always on Full Tilt. Mainly just because I liked the layout. But I do agree the Freerolls offered just by Pokerstars are not good at all. Thankful for the CC freerolls we have on there though.

Most people do not like playing freerolls because the field is usually huge and the prizepool tiny. No one wants to play for 6 hours to win $ 3, which means that game selection is essential. Usually the best freerolls are those that offer a decent prize pool and a relatively small field.

Hello ribaric,

I always played poker on the Pokerstars website and I remember that there were more freeroll tournaments, unfortunately there are few freeroll tournaments today, but there are occasional days of the week that give freeroll tournaments options through the site, such as:

Every day at certain times: Pokerschool Open Skill League, no need for passwords.

Through Star Code: You can win tickets to play Poker Cash Giveaway tournaments, by entering your pokerstars login, click on tools / Star Code / enter the three initials of the month + the year.
Example: Dec2016

School Pass Satelite Tickets: These are earned through the Intelipoker website, by asking questions and answers.

And through, of course, CardsChat itself, meeting the requirements proposed by the site and qualifying at specific levels.

So that's it, GL on the tables and hope it has helped !!! :)

There are at least two or three poker sites with the best freerolls. This really is not the strong point of Pokerstars.

I think pokerstars is now all about the revenue stream. Freerolls are now only a way to get players in and spend some real money to pad their pockets. So you have to eliminate the free money which are only used as a marketing tool to get you to spend bigger once you are hooked. that is why most of their tournments now require you to have real money to buy-in to get to larger payouts. Nothing is free.
