Coming back to poker after a year and some, seeing the same chasing to the river for the catch. Finding my way back trying to keep myself from becoming the player I cry. Slow and steady building table credit, little pots help your stack. Trying to stay away from big pot burns. See you on the tables good cards to you.

Sometimes chasing to the river is justified. It really depends on the betting and whether the chaser is being priced in or not. Good luck on your comeback!

Welcome back. Yeah you are right, the crap never ends. But there are ways to move those players out of the hand.. If I'm wrong, someone tell me. I get really tired of the same players raising every hand, and calling all the way on draws. I know those raisers can't have a good hand every time. So this is just me. When they raise pre-flop ahead of me, many times I will fire right back at them with a bigger raise with nothing sometimes and more than 50% of the time they will fold. But don't get me wrong. I pick my spots to make that move. Then at times I will have a good hand and win the pot. Also I may only 3bet with a monster to make it easy to get a few calls and I may even get a raise, and that's the times I can go all in and run the bluff out. There are so many ways to play your hands and keep others confused

Welcome back! Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob here and I didn't understand that first phrase of yours. Does "
seeing the same chasing to the river for the catch
mean opponents are calling willingly in the hopes of hitting a great hand on the river card? Surely the odds would be on your favour (in the long run) if you have a made hand
