Which books are most useful for online tournament play?
i have read harrington's 1 and 2, I have just bought Sklansky's book, and am getting harrington 3 and snyder 1 and 2 for xmas, can anyone recommend any others for tournament play?

I have read Volume one and need to get Volume two now, I have just got back in to playing tournament so I'm reading one again then I will buy two.

Don't bother getting Harrington On Holdem Vol.3 (it's not necessary at all if you've read 1 & 2 & is too outdated imo... although for sure this > reading 1 & 2 will help give you a decent foundation for Tournament play)

Try searching for threads re: poker books (there are ALOT of them)

Yeah Harrington 3 is just problems, you would do just as well reading the Hand History sections here, and listening to the guys who know what they are talking about of course!

Secrets of profesional Tournament Poker by Jonathan Little is very good IMO, the 2nd volume is coming out soon I believe

Harrington 3 is a workbook. How beneficial you find it to be will depend on a mix of factors such as how you learn best, what you're looking to learn, how well you can appreciate his style (no matter how much or how little yours resembles it), etc.

As for 1 and 2, they espouse a TAG style that still wins if you play it well at low levels. But at higher levels, the play is more aggressive than it was when the books were written, so you have to adapt how he thinks and what he says to the current context.
