Is it profitable to play paid tourneys? What are the best tournaments that you have paid until this moment? Can you recommend some?

I find the bounty builders and the progressive KO's are very profitable.

If You are good player every tornament could be profitable :D
I reccomend to play tournaments with smaller field like progressive KO with no late reg or small NLHE tournaments. It's better for fresh players than BIGs, HOTs and Bounty Builders where are around 4-10k players in one tournament :)

And remember about good BRM. This is most important if You want to be winning player

I really like to play 6max SNG ($ 5, $ 7, $ 15) Quickly and you can make a profit!

Try to play tournaments with a deep stacks and normal speed up of blinds. Later then you rich your skill and bankroll you can try yourself in other games and tourneys and look for what you like and most profitable for you.

I'd would go for smaller field lower buy in MTT's or 6 to 9 man sit n go's for a beginning player. Play micro to small stakes until you feel you are confident in your ability and skills. Study your game as much as possible in these early stages.

depends on your skill and bankroll. I try to stay away from turbos as they become a shove-fest after a few levels, ESPECIALLY if its re-entries.

You have to have a strategy for KO tourneys as people will call you super wide if they cover you just to get your booty. so keep that in mind and you should also widen your range when you cover someone as well.

I personally like the larger field tournaments. More dead money and it pays more places.
