I'm trying to play some freerolls, in certain point there are less weak players and more better players, I had finished each day on better places, but a still making some mistakes with my position and hand range.

What are the range that you shove and in what position after ITM with less than 15BB? I usually try to shove only with less than 10BB with pairs, AT+, or brothers suited I prefer do this in late positions, but sometimes I shove in early positions too.

Once ITM before still far from the final table, people will play looser and are more likely to call, so I would stick to good hands with the occasional bluff shove with hands that do decently even if called like J10s, 109s, etc.

Yeah, I would try not bluff unless you are in late position with a hand that has some decent equity on the right board (as mentioned JTs etc.). I would try steal a lot from late position with ace highs, but beware you will occasionally bust as a result of this.

You're playing way too tight with 15-10 BB. After you're ITM then you shove with just about any two.

I think any two is exaggerated, I will have a very low probabilities to win in the first places, there are good opportunities to explore some spots, or fold to some villains actions.

You should look at the push fold charts to get an idea. You will have to adjust to your table but they will give you an idea of how wide you can profitably shove.

I agree with you friend, 15 bb you can increase your call range, and all in, pre flop, you go into the law of push, fold, or it's all or nothing.

I like to refer to a push/fold chart by Jonathan Little. It takes 3 different ante's in account (0%, 10% and 12.5%) and full ring positions with 1-15BB's

https://floattheturn.com/wp/pushfold/

If someone shows strength by opening before you, tighten up significantly.. Or just fold.

I'm still confused myself, but:
- the push/fold charts are based on ICM (more money if you survive). My experience is that poeple and stack at the table are more important. And any hand you play that is not on the push/fold chart is a pre-flop bluff.
- yesterday in FRC I have the two biggest stacks to my left (my stack varied betweeen 9th and 3rd), one of them is LAG, almost maniak. By carefully (not) playing dangerous hands I was kicked out as 4th by the LAG, who as far as I know played that hand badly (LAG went all in post flop with middle pair and very low kicker, while I had tptk; but LAG made 2pair on the river).

Not all garbage is created equal. I try to get involved with hands that have as many ways to win as possible. For example. J2o is trash but then so is T6s. The main difference between them though is that J2o cannot make a straight or flush (Unless the board is 4 flushed, in which case it is still weak). T6s can make straights and flushes which gives it an extra 5% equity vs. any random hand. Even if Villain is shoving/calling with a solid Reg range of 17% {22+ AT+ KT+ QT+ JT+}, the T6s still has 33% Equity to win. If J2o were facing that same range it will only win 27% of the time. That extra 6% difference is HUGE in a tournament bubble situation. One more example, A5s wins against that same range 2% more often than A9o! This is because of the additional straight and flush possibilities. Try to choose hands which have MULTIPLE WAYS to win. This gives them the maximum equity when called.
