Playing in my first 2 day tournament 1/29/13 in the LAPC event #21

Im trying to find out what type of mind set i should have going into day 1 its my first tournament in a casino i wanna make a deep run so any advice or pointers will be very helpful

i dont have advise, except patience, 2days is a long poker game

MAy you could give some further details about the tourney..

Something Bernard Lee used to always say about multi-day tournaments: One hand at a time, make it through the level (hopefully with more chips), make it through the day...

GL. I struggle to play an online game lasting longing than 4 hours so would really struggle for 2 days

Since this is a 2 day event , is this a Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday ?

Be patient in the early stages and more aggressive with the antes set in.

Good luck man, I don't have much advice other than patience and pick your spots wisely. But like someone said earlier, relax, enjoy and have a good time... Being overly nervous will just ruin your game.

Play as if it was just another tourney.

Get a good nights sleep & eat a good breakfast.Like everyone else says patients.GL to you.

good luck makes sure to use the bathroom before the start and avoid leaving the table and missing any hands

you might only miss one hand if you leave but that one hand could be a monster

Definitely be patient! I would try not to get too nervous but that might be a little hard. Just stick to your game - dont get too tight or too crazy.
