A good way to practice for HU in an MTT is to play some hyper turbo hu sngs. The stack depths are similar at the end of an MTT and in the hypers. Or you can watch some training videos(husngs.com has some good free vids)

it seems to me that in the OU much depends on luck, so I prefer not to play

Got to practice to get good at HU totally different game.
Practice with sng - single table hypers & headsup spin n gos are helpful also.
In meantime before you learn the skills and gain experience you keep it preflop do not take any flops fold or ship it on your upper range like A6+J10+any pair.

Play aggressively, but at the same time with caution ...
You need to get the opponent to distrust you, so that he can pay at the right moment for you

Sounds good. Gonna follow this and try. I usually unsure also by the end how to play HU.

Playing aggressive and passive, not always expect to have an A q, observe the opponent's movement you will know how to act and with what hands your opponent plays

in the HEADSUP all the hands are not discarded, unlike a tournament that you have to be more selective with your cards .... in the HEADSUP you can not discard all the hands, you have to play, another form of game that the players use is always to make a small RAISE PREFLOP to force your opponent to make FOLD and so you weaken it. you have to be aggressive with your bets

First of all, take a deep breath, your opponent is in a heads up as well. Is he raising you in every BB? Ok, he has been here before, be careful, but not shy! Is he calling every hand to see the flop, take care of his raises! The rest is waiting until both have decent holecards, may the better hand win!!!

Hey man!

It is easy, almost every poker site offers heads up SNG, just try to play the deep form so you can simulate a final table's heads up.

Gotta practice as much as you can. HU is another poker game.

I have been playing Heads Up Sit and Go's online lately to work on my game. I have had some success, although it is a little bit different playing a SnG compared to heads up at the end of a longer game. I used to play a lot of spin and go's, but I gave it up due to the high rake and wild playback. You get a lot more consistent play going heads up than in Spin N Go.
