I have been trying to build a bankroll on FeltStars by playing the nightly freerolls. They have a $10.00 Freeroll that usually has less than 150 players has unlimited re-buy .10 for 1500 chips for the first hour, 1st pays $5 the $20 freeroll has about the same, unlimited rebuys for the first hour .20 for 1500 1st is $10
I notice that most players are pushing with any Ace and I have questioned them about the any ace play. Today one guy cracks my pocket Queens. I made a pot size raise pre-flop folds around and this gentleman re raises all in. He had been very acvtive and had a ridiculous range. I called with the ladies and he turns up A 5.
As what seems to be usual the Ace is right out the door. Now I fold Ace rag to a pre-flop raise 90% of the time.
Am I the fish or is it just bad play in this position to play Ace Rag like it was the nuts.

Happens all the time man. Even happens in buy-in games (large & small). Nothing you can do when they make bad plays, you just have to rely on good luck that your hand holds up @ that point.

Better luck next time

I only play an ace/rag if I can limp in and there's only 1 or 2 players calling... If they're suited I'll give them more consideration.

The freerolls can make you go mad with the calls/raises.....especially when I lose to constant river magic*
