Hi, I'm playing in a live 10 man SNG tonight. The blinds go up every 25 minutes and every player has the option to rebuy twice or rebuy once and add-on once before the start of the 6th blind level. There aren't any antes at all which makes stealing less profitable. Top 3 get paid in this tournament. I've have done pretty well in this format before playing a tightish game in the beginning and loosening up when it gets shorthanded (so like 5 players or less left).

What do you think my strategy should be for this tournament? Obviously I'm going to get some answers along the lines of 'it depends on your reads of your opponents' etc. I do have decent reads on many of my opponents having played with them quite a lot but in general in a format like this, how should I play?

I think you have grasped the general idea.

When it comes to the re-buys, add-on, well its not that simple to answer.
On one hand you would like to re-buy for the full amount right away as your chips have +EV.
On the other hand surviving is more important than building a stack early on.
I would say that you would want to have a stack that covers the lag fish who hopefully will donate his chips to you.
But if there are no players like that at the table, go with the re-buy, add-on option.

I was really, really card-dead for the whole thing. Couldn't really get any kind of momentum going. My friend was looking like he was going to win it. 4 handed and he was chipleader. Putting tons of pressure on his opponents and winning almost every pot. Then he had a hand against the 2nd biggest stack. He had TT, board was T3339. His opponent had K3s...
