I find it helps to play tight early its ok to fold three hands in a row. if you set up a tight image when the blinds are small you can take advantage later on and steel bigger pots. For example I will rarely check raise a flopped draw early but after a couple of levels, especially if my opponent is cbetting a lot, I may go for the check raise. This is also true for opening requirements and two barrel bluffing. If your opponent thinks your playing a lot of Ax Kx hands you can bet/raise when those cards hit and get folds from hands that should call.

I feel it is important to note here that when I say loosen up I mean loosen up selectively. if all the sudden you start raising every hand and cbetting every flop your opponent will notice and adjust to you. That brings me to another point if your opponent is playing a fixed strategy and not adjusting then disregard what I said and exploit him as much as you can. If he only calls the flop with good hands c bet more if he bluffs to much check call more. Lastly take notes on your players as you may play them again and it helps knowing what kind of a player they are.

Good luck
