You cannot sit around waiting for pocket aces. With blinds ever increasing you could eventually be 'blinded out'.
This does not mean you should enter pots randomly with any two cards. Using good judgement of starting hands and being aware of your position are important.
The later the positon you have the wider your opening range can be as a general rule of thumb.
Obviously there is a lot more to tournament play than just these two items however they are very fundamental in developing a strong and winning style.

This is a good style of play in most cases. But it depends on the structure of the tournament - if the game goes fast, you can not wait for your aces.

It all depends on the stage of the tournament:
- early stage;
- middle stage;
- a bubble;
- the final table.

It is also necessary to consider the size of stack and change your tactics game.

In tournaments you have to play more hands than you would in cash games due to the blinds increase, so you don't necessarily need to be patient all the time.

I think that waiting more or less hands this is normal but to go to the Bank with medium-sized hands depends on your bankroll.

I do not think that in the tournament you need to sit and play 1-2% of the starting hands. But patience is definitely one of the keys to money in poker.

Always Lose on high pair after flop

i constantly do well and after a few hours or so I have high pair after the flop and get smoked by straights and everything else, should I even bet on high pair after the flop, should I check every time I have.  What’s the best protocol.

Try to get on the flop, after that it's up to you to decide what to do.

Yes you are right. But why do most people think that strong hands are AA and KK? In the initial stage, suited connectors on postflop can also be a strong hand.

Yes patience and only patience + skills and + luck in tournaments and in cash games and you can win and get to the prize zone and get to the final tables, but there are other times when many players make mistakes when you do not have to play and wait for your time and do not rush, only patience needs a lot for tournaments and everything will turn out!

You can not play only with monsters hands, you must know what are the speculative hands that you must play, and weigh it with the position in which you are, you will notice that many times it is profitable to pay a raise with suited hands connected or not, since the chances of forming a ladder or color are good and in general your rival will pile up his whole stack believing that his hand is still good.

I think that patience is very important, but there are many factors that influence your game ... It depends on which stage the tournament is, then the position you are in and much more ... But I am not the supporters of just sitting in the tournament and waiting for the strongest hand...;)

depends

Every situation is different. Aces may not even be the best hand i just got screwed over in the later stages of a tournament earlier and with the blinds as high as they were and they way i played it , no one else here would have folded it. You have to play the position and fold big cards sometimes i guess.

At the beginning of a tournaments it's important that you get as many chips as you can that way later in the tournament you could be patient and wait for good cards.

at the beginning of the tournament it is worth playing only bonus hands AQ +, QQ +, well, and further, when the blades grow to be worth playing more widely, do not play only with premium hands

While patience is key in tournaments sometimes be too patient and just walk waiting hands like AA, KK, QQ do not useless in a tournament where the blinds go up quickly so also matters a lot know how to play with position and aggression to make a balance in your game

Patience waiting for your opponent to make a mistake. Especially hours into a tournament when people start getting tired.

It depends on the modality of the game (speaking in hold'em) if it is hyper turbo you have to be less selective with your hands, but hey, everything is situational
