This is the structure sheet for a wsop event.
http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/structure-sheet.asp?tid=12852

I don't have much live tourney experience so I was wondering how to compare this with an online tourney as far as hands per hour and blind levels are concerned. Would it be like an online tourney with 15min blinds or similar?

If you have poker tracking software, about how many hands per hour is a general average.
If you play live tourneys alot, what would be a general average for live play?

Thanks for any help

The blind levels are 1 hour and it starts at 25-25. Makes up a little bit for the small starting stack - but not much lol.

I can't compare it to an online tournament - the play is just so much slower live.

Hypothetically speaking, if the ratio of online to live were 4:1, say 100 per hour online versus 25 per hour live then this event would be the equvilent of 15 min levels; wouldn't you say so?
