Hey guys,

My experience in poker (with the exception of the odd homegame) has all been online. A number of casinos in my area have regular sit and go's....average buy in is $100.

I typically play single tables, 45, and 90 player sngs. What can I expect when I go live? I know people say live play tends to be weaker but I wanted to ask the CC fam.

One of your biggest issues will probably be pace. You see a lot more hands online. Things will be slower live. You have to be prepared mentally for the about of time and the difference in the amount of hands you will see per blind level.

The big issue like MstrBlast3r said is the slow play and I found that it becomes very easy to lose focus when playing live and that is maybe why live play tends to be weak. Having the ability to lock in and stay 100% focused is a trait that takes time and practice when playing live. That's why the big pro to playing online is that you can make it much easy on yourself and cut down on distractions from your desk at home.
