Hey CardsChat grinders!

My name is Michael Carbone, known online as fydor_8. Whats up?!

I'm a Heads Up Sit and Go poker player and coach who's been specializing in HUSNG since 2007, grinding from my dorm room while going to university and playing baseball as an NCAA scholarship athlete.

I began by grinding the micros ($5 buy-in), slowly moving my way up through the levels as my bankroll grew. I'm a well known regular and heads-up sit and go coach, having played the $220 Turbos on Full Tilt prior to Black Friday. You can now find me playing the Hyper Turbo format on pokerstars. My coaching and strategy videos have become very well known in the HUSNG community and I've been regularly featured on well known websites like CardsChat.com and HUSNG.com.

The games have obviously changed since Black Friday - hence why I moved from turbos to hyper turbos. I think the games have gotten tougher, and the players that felt like victims have disappeared...this has really made way for those players who had the "I guess I just need to work harder and get better" mentality. There's no doubt that its tough to move up in stakes and play as high as I once did, but there's no reason for a low/mid stake player to be worried about the lack of action in these games. I think anyone can still do fairly well with heads up sit and gos, assuming they have reasonable expectations
