Been in a regular tourny for the past couple weeks. Just an early $50 rebuy until first break. Usually have around 25-30 players paying the top 3 places. I have won it before and offered the bubble, but the past three times I have played I was the bubble and was never offered or the thought was rejected by the players. (one was the bubble that I had pitched in and helped last week. How do people feel about this and should I reject the motion from here on out. Tired of being the nice guy then getting screwed when the roles are switched. When we paid the bubble the final 3 all pitched in 10. Giving them 30.

If you think you have a skill edge don't chop. If your the short stack and it is offered to you quickly take it. Don't feel bad about refusing a chop. I usually agree to pay the bubble but would never be offended if someone did not want to.

Giving to the bubble just creates another bubble. With that being said, if I'm short stack I'd love to pay the bubble for obvious reasons. If I'm a huge safe stack, then I might not. It's up to the players!

I've never heard of this offering the bubble before and to be honest I think it really is a,lovely and kind idea but not one that wins much favour with most people. The bubble is there for a reason, it's not there to get money from the eventual cashiers in the game...its to lose out!

Do not judge strictly, may be the guy for the first time became the chip leader of the tournament, and it is the first major win. Stay a good guy, and everything will return to you double.

We used to do this regularly in CC buy ins, winner would pay bubble, but it was always voluntary. Never considered doing it anywhere else.

I too have never offered the bubble anything, but would gladly accept if I was short and it was offered. I certainly wouldn't be the one offering if I had a large stack though. Maximize winnings man. You earned it!
