Note caddy is a really useful thing for games like STT where you can get notecaddy information over multiple spots. But you have to really know how to set it up to get the most out of it. Things like "alpha HUD" will help you if you don't want to get setup. however notecaddy in mtt is as useless as taking too many notes, it will save you time, but you will end up with useless information that proabably helps you make bad decicions.
Note caddy will tell you things like, this player has 3bet 2/3 times from the BB, sometimes people will take that as we should never raise them from the BB beacuse they are too loose, when in reality they have had only 3 chance to make a decision like that, and it's very likely to be highly skewed data.
basically put, the more data you have, the more likely it is to be skewed. The more simple the data you have, like things like vpip/pfr etc, the less likely it is to be skewed and you can form assumptions based on those simple things rather than gathering ****tons of worthless data that does nothing but help you make incorrect assumptions or decisions about opponants.
