Because of my BR I have to pick the tournys I can afford to play in, and last night I played in a $60 GTD for $.65 and 2 rebuys and an add on. So that is $2.60. and again I have to get to 5th to even break even, and with 89 players that's not easy to do. And if I won the tourny I would only win $12. What is the point, even though I reached the money? I'm a winning player at these tournys but I have to move on to the bigger ones if I ever want to make any money.

If your BR doesnt allow you to play at higher buy ins, try to play tourneys with much more players and ofc better prizepools. As you say, playing on tourneys for .65$ for 12$ first prize isnt worth the time. Maybe you will spend more money on electricity while playing, than winning some money on this tourney lol :p

That's a good one Lekoo. 3 hours of electricity cost more than the whole damn tourny pays. I played a $250 GTD late last night and done pretty good, and made it to the money. I just worry about losing the BR I have, but I guess if I worry all the time, I won't take a chance on myself as a good player. And I am a good player. But I play about the same tournys on Full Flush everyday and both of them are $200 GTD and I can't count the times I've made the final table, and I've won them many time too. The bad run I was having for nearly a month is gone now and I'm back on track.

I've learned that in these types of situations, it is never good to rebuy.
Try using just one bullet next time. And if you lose, on to the next one.
Statistics say that only about 10% of MTT fields get paid.
Look at those odds, and maybe it'll be easier not to rebuy.

Also, it would prob take 2+ hours to take down a tourney at least. Factor in the time as well. Good luck next time.
