Hi, just taking a break from cash games ATM, and dabbling in sng's.

I have a question about ROI.

Does the ROI include the tournament fee.

i.e. Does 20% ROI at $1.20 sngs = $0.20 or $0.24 per game?

Thanks

I've always assumed every single cent you have put into it is taken into account.

So if its a 1 +.20 SnG, its a 1.20 loss.

*edit* so in your example it would be .24

Your investment includes the fee, and your ROI will have to include that.

Yes, ROI is Return on Investment.
The investment into a $5.50 tournament is $5.50.

So if you play a $1.10 Double or Nothing you get paid $2 (because they only double the non-rake part of your investment) which gives you an 81.82% ROI, not 100%.

It would only be a 100% ROI if you paid $1.10 to play a tournament and they paid you $2.20.
