Hi there,

Wondering if anyone has any insight on how best to invest micro banks from freeroll wins in ACR or BOL. Talking 50c or $1.

Trying to recreate Ferguson going from 0 to 1,000,000 on full tilt, lol.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I'm trying to do the same thing so I completely understand what you need. What I've been doing is hitting the freerolls pretty hard usually 3-5 a day until I got to about $5 then I started with the .05 and .11 SnG's and lowest stake buy in tourney's and thats really payed off for me, I'm cashing is about 5-7 tourneys a week and about half of my SnG's. I'd say stick with that until you get a above $10 before trying any cash games. Just stick with that strategy until you get to more bankroll then try the next highest buy-ins, but stick with it and just keep grinding, especially if you're only making a few cents here and there from SnG's.

Long story short, only invest the freeroll winnings in the lowest stake stuff or at least the highest you feel comfortable at and slowly move up the bankroll. Good luck to you and see you at the tables!

Sit and Goes

ACR has small buy in .25 cent tournaments for like $60-80 guarantee. BOL has .5 cent turbos and if the player wins they win .21. play a couple of those like 10 and then maybe you can buy in to the .50 cent $50 dollar guarantee.

You feel comfortable play, this 100-buy-in concept for bankroll is overpowered, if you pick up the top 10 pokerstars player and go to shackscoop, you will see a volume of over 400,000 tournaments, and within the graph you will see them , You have up to 3 months of prejude playing over 2,000 buy-ins ... so if you take into account that you need to have 100x the value of buy-to have a healthy bankroll, this is far from true ... if the best Of the world, that has technique, and knowledge, volume of game, takes damage of up to 2 thousand buy-in, we need to review the concept of bankroll ...
So the tip is play as much as I can and I did not let you tense.

What you need to keep in mind that free roll & very low buy ins produce very loose play & as you move up you are going to run into better play & will need to adjust your style. The other thing is going this route requires a major investment in time for very little return in cash. Fine if you have to, or wish to go that route but, if you can AFFORD to deposit ,& still practice good BRM, you will get where you want to go, or find out you aren't likely to much quicker. Either way, good luck.

On BO, I have lately been playing the .55 double up. Top 4 players get 1.00. A few times I forgot what I was playing and played too aggressive when 5 players were left. I had enough chips to hang back and win (I think) instead I played too many hands when blinds were going up.
I will also play a dollar cash table in Omaha hi. I usually can do well in these. I do a lot better with high-low, but that takes 2.00 min buy in. I have been playing the free rolls until I am more confident on how to put 50 bucks on the site. Then I can play some. With the bit coin hassle lately, I have been weary of using it to deposit.

From zero to $10,000 as I remember. Still good though.

On ARC play the $10 freerolls and other 3rd party freerolls to get some real money balance. I found ARC loaded $5 a few days after the account was opened but not funded. Been able to get some gains from playing the nightly .10+.1. Just got to try and stay disciplined and patient with good bankroll management as the cash grows. Good luck

Also forgot to add follow some of the streamers on Twitch. Bet on Drew often offers real money for ARC play. This is another way to add funds to that account. I think many of them have good give-a-ways.

I'd keep playing and winning freerolls until around the $10 mark and then start playing low money buy-in maybe 10c 360 mans if your on stars.. and then grind away from then.. I would even play with 80c 1/2c 6 max cash and maybe take some calculated risk.. in the end the less you risk the more potential you have to not bust lol

I used to use my winnings on $0.02 sit and go games but it's like playing lotto. I play $0.10 which is good training and has a freeroll feel to it while still giving a taste of real money tournament. Then build from there.

Just deposit $50 with all the bonuses you get for first time. I would play the $1,000 guaranteed maniac monday on ACR. Not much you can do with 0.50

If you play normally, then you can register in the tournaments of the "Hot" and similar ones, there prize funds are relatively normal, and you can go for 0.55. With a standard type of speed you can win, but still choose your own taste. There are options.

Freerolls are a good start for building a bankroll. But not everyone has the patience to play them.

play the lowest you can or highest you can =)
I see this 2 fold: 1- grind with decent BRM and play as low as you can even with 5$ you can play 25c(or what ever the lowst on Chico is) 2- play the highest small field MTT. Iknow that 2nd way will be criticized , but that's what I did so ... you know, cant lie =)
1 more think be mind full about time:$ ratio. some FR are much better thatn others. CC fre roll offers usualy 100$ for ~150poeople (give or take), 50$pokerTHrustday for ~3k peopl. Min cash in CC ~ 0.75c = 3 low sngs/spins, min cash in poker thursday(could be wrong about the name) ~ 0.01 cent =time well spend? =).
