Ok im in a tourney atm and my table is a bunch of calling stations and fold to any raise bigger than a click back.

Now I had AA utg twice an made a simple 2.25 bb raise sure enough to my read on the table they all fold.

My question is next time i get a hand like this do I try and trap them by joining the crowd and limp or do i stick to the game plan and take the pots i can when i can?

If they keep limping in but don't like calling raises I would start raising a lot more often, in fact, if folded to me I would be open-raising nearly 100% of the time in any position until they notice.

I wouldn't worry about them folding when you raise with AA pre-flop, I would be more concerned about trying to slow-play AA in EP at a full table because this is a recipe for losing a big pot.

thanks man I didn't think about the first part about raising all the time because i was seriously card dead for 2 hours, but ill defiantly implement that idea.

My terminology is probably wrong its even harder to say they were calling stations cause any aggression they wimp out. I was getting frustrated watching these idiots call each other down to the river an some1 jamm a crazy 2 pair that they hit on river

If everyone is folding to raises, then you raise widely and expect to win a bunch of pots uncontested.

Sometimes you just can't play AA KK or QQ, its no big deal. Just take the big blinds, avoid losing any dough (you will not bounce back on limp tables), keep chill until the tables change, and prepare to play a short stack strategy once the tables change.
