October was a good month, November should be the same although I will have to miss the clubs $100 tournament to go see Daughter at college.

8 tournaments played, 5 final table, 4 cashes, moved into top 15 in wsop-ME points, +$324

9 cash game sessions played, only 2 losing sessions, +$1864

This is what I mostly accomplished last month. I am Xgnomrcyx on LP.

WHLOctober
I spent most of the month in the 5th place position, so I wanted a strong finish. The last two tourneys I came in 2nd on Oct 26th for $15.20 & 1st place on Oct 30th for a whopping $10.50. There was a bit of a downswing in my br,'cuz I got anxious & played in some ring games. Right now, my br for this site is over $50, 'cuz of the $20 prize that wuz deposited into my account last night.:)

Had a really good October (+>$1k) thanks to hitting my biggest score and beating it the following day. Have never tracked my play at all so I'm gonna start doing that now. Probably need to get me a HUD too but that discussion is not for this thread.

GL everyone.

I came in 3rd in last night's WHL tourney for 11.40. It was AK vs. 66, then a king comes out after the flop, and I'm all in. The turn card is a 6. What r ya gonna do?
My balance is 59.52 right now.:)

Which MTT SNG type on stars do you guys think is best/most profitable? I'm thinking it is maybe better to just pick one to concentrate on. I quite like the 90 man $1 turbo, takes only about 90 mins, came 2nd in that the other day.

180 mans by a long way. (but it depends on your skill level/style a lot i guess)

I am reasonably adept at MTTs.

Only trouble is that my BR doesn't really allow me to play the $2.50 180 man turbos yet. But I think they have a cheaper 180 man which is non-turbo. Do you find the turbo or non-turbo softer?

I've started playing some 180 man 2.50's on stars just to learn mtt's better (pascals idea) just the turbo ones though!

So far played like 16 and my highest place was 18th :D I'll race you to take one down micromachine! Although we should both be hanging out in our cash threads and leave the tourneys to people who know how to play them.

God forbid they see you here getting excited about MTTs! Well, not sure I can afford to play many $2.50s yet, but I am up for a challenge so how about first one to win a 180 with a buy-in of over $1 and can be turbo or non-turbo? Screenshot proof required. I will only be playing one or two a week btw so it might take a while :D

Yeah sounds like a fair idea, dont want you breaking your bankroll over a silly game. Good luck :) Lets not tell the cash players about this of course!

Final table of $5 1000 cap on pokerstars now. $600 up top.

Edit: Ugh. Out in 7th for $73. Had no cards. Shipped a flush draw and missed.

As far as I can see, the only $1 180-seater is a hyper-turbo -- so probably not much easier on the BR than the $2.50 turbo. If you're only taking a shot once in a while, the $2.50 is not that hard in which to cash, IMO...
