Recently I read one message in which a newcomer leaves the tournament with aggressive regulars. it seemed to me that the beginner does not fight with ordinary poker players, but, being afraid to lose the buy-in, do you consider his main mistake, the game is not for a bankroll?

Actually I did kind of the same mistake. Entered a zoom heads up game for $50 on the first week of my entry. One should always keep in mind his skills and, of course, his bankroll.

Newcomers to expensive tournaments is a problem. no experience, no strategy, no basic knowledge. but there is ambition, aggression and confidence that he is the best player in the world. very unpredictable players, they are hard to read.

Somehow I won a $ 11 ticket for a knockout tournament, I expected that there would be only good players and i decided to play carefully.
I had an AA hand, I raised 2.5bb with UTG, the player on SB made a 3-bet. I'm all in, he's Call. His hand is KQo. and he took his two pairs and knocked me out of the tournament.
From this I concluded that idiots exist in any tournaments, both in expensive and cheap ones)

On this you need to play only those tournaments where the Byn does not hit the bankroll. And in case of failure you will not be so sad ....

if you feel you already had the good mindset, skill and the bankroll then its ok you can grind there. but you say that yo are a beginner so its better to start from the bottom earn some experience that we need mostly to play in expensive tournament in the future, with that, atleast you have some chance when you play in expensive one.

this is my opinion becouse im beginner too.. GL

Yes, but you must correctly evaluate your strength and do not climb into those games that you do not have on the teeth, but of course if you sit down to play and are afraid to lose, then you are already losing

Maybe this "newcomer" had long trained and played in live poker. And now he tried to play online.

Please don't change the color of the font when posting, it makes it hard to read ;)

I do not understand why it is changing. It happens when I write from the phone.

You never know who will sit with you, plus even the pros do not always play tight or aggressive, so you need to count only on your skill, and expect anything from your opponents!
